Presentation Overview

Poland has world class researchers but their research results still remain little known in Japan. Perhaps many of the innovative solutions sought after by Japanese companies have already been developed in Poland, and could be obtained at a relatively low cost? Or maybe there is a research team in Poland which might greatly contribute to an important research project being carried out in Japan, and increase the chances of its success? How can state institutions assist in that?
By addressing these questions, this event covers three perspectives as below, to give the participants a more comprehensive understanding of possibilities of boosting S&T cooperation between the two countries.

State-of-the-art Polish technologies
About 10 research topics will be presented to Japanese companies seeking innovative business and manufacturing solutions.

Policy measures to boost Japanese-Polish S&T cooperation
Key representatives from Japanese and Polish government agencies in charge of S&T cooperation will talk about the present state of policy measures and related situation in both countries.

Present state of Japanese-Polish cooperation in S&T
Several cases of a fruitful cooperation between Japanese and Polish scientists as well as companies will be discussed by the persons in charge.

We hope that this event benefits all of you in business, academic, and policy areas.
