Aim

Cyber security is not only an issue of national security or crime control, but also an issue of business. It provide a platform for companies' daily operation, product performance and services. As autonomous driving technologies and remote control technology of home electronics have been developed, and as the age of "Internet of Things (IoT)," in which various products will be connected through the internet, is coming, cyber security technology will be crucial for almost all of the business sectors.

Israel has been producing a lot of startups in the field of software technology and realizing innovation. Especially, because of situation surrounding the country, its system of research and development, and talents trained through military service, Israel has a great record in the field of cyber security technology. In addition, through collaboration with overseas countries, Israel now becomes one of the centers of global innovation network in the field of cyber security.

In this symposium, speakers and panelists from government, business, and academia will discuss and share future vision of industrialization of cyber security. Learning from the experience of Israel, participants will discuss the future vision of convergence of the cyber security and other (traditional) sectors (e.g. automobile, electrical appliance, financial service, infrastructure, plant operation, and etc...) and the possibility of the collaboration between Japan and Israel.
