Inividualization of universities, re-definition of university missions, modernization of university management have been called for and the relevant policies have been developed. And, people are more and more concerned with the international university ranking. Under such circumstances, the universities need to establish their own strategies and deepen the quantitative analysis through various methods, including benchmarking.
This training seminar will try to make contributions to strengthen the university functions by providing basic knowledge and tools for analyzing research at universities and also an opportunity to exchange information among the Japanese universities.
