We are pleased to announce that Yuri Akutsu, a Ph.D. student at GRIPS and a Project Assistant Professor at the National Museum of Japanese History, presented a paper at the 30th Annual International Conference on Science and Technology Indicators.
The presentation, titled "Perceived Tensions between Career Development and Field Contributions across Research Orientations: A Study of Early-Career Social Sciences and Humanities Researchers in Japan," examined the perceived tensions between career development and contributions to academic fields among early-career researchers in the social sciences and humanities in Japan.
